You are invited to participate in the Day of the Dead by placing a picture of a deceased loved one and a small offering (normally a favorite snack or trinket) on our University alter. The alter will be located in the lobby of Shafer Library. Join us Wednesday November 1, 2023 for the 18th annual Helping Hands food drive! University of Findlay students, faculty, and staff come together each year to collect and donate food. The surrounding communities and local schools also get involved, resulting in hundreds of thousands of pounds of food being donated to CHOPIN Hall (Christians Helping Other People In Need). To date, 1,336,695 total pounds of food has been collected and donated by the University of Findlay and Sodexo. Feel free to stop by and make a donation to the amazing cause!
Come back on Thursday, November 2, 2023 when we will announce the total weight of food donated, and award the winners of the CANstruction event and local school donation competition.
